Natural disaster births are already pretty amazing, but this story ramps things up to seriously crazy. In August of 2011, Melissa Farrish was a week overdue to give birth and Hurricane Irene was getting ready to blow into town. Just before the storm touched down, Farrish went into labor and took an ambulance to the hospital, according to Riverhead Patch. During her C-section, the hospital power went out, but the emergency generators kicked in and little Hailey Elizabeth was born. So what’s the twist? Farrish herself had been born during Hurricane Gloria in 1985.
