  • Would you go into debt for your child?Latest reply: Sept. 19, 2012, 11:54 p.m. by

University prices are just going to keep getting higher. But you don't want to deny your child a higher education if they want it. What would you do to help your child get through the costs of college?

I would seat down with a child and come to an agreement how she or he will work it out. My boys are in boys scouting, and all targeting for Eagle. Not only it is a life experience in itself but by being an Eagle they have a lot of scholarship options. Also my older once, 13 and 12 year olds, started to work and save money for their further education. Of course you want to help your child, but having your child working towards his / her future will bring so much more then just a great university education.
