Seems like just yesterday everyone was marveling at Kate Middleton's post-baby bump—and her willingness to show it off. We all had opinions. Some called it brave. Others called it totally normal. Then she hopped in that Range Rover outside St. Mary's Hospital and sped away, and that bump was never to be seen from again.
After a month spent in relative hiding at her home in Anglesey, Wales, the Duchess finally emerged for a grocery store run this week. And boy, does she look amazing. Snapped on the way to the car with a cart full of groceries from Waitrose, the photos reveal a strikingly slim Kate, who looks ... well, pretty much exactly the same as she did before little Georgie was born. Flat stomach, slim legs; seriously, it's hard to believe there was once a baby in there!
And that's pretty impressive, considering it takes most moms three to six months to lose the baby weight.
As a source close to the Duchess revealed to Us Weekly, “She’s hardly done anything to lose the weight. ... She looks incredible. Kate’s still breast-feeding and the small weight she gained while pregnant has just melted off. She’s not dieting. After giving birth, she did continue with her yoga.”
Naturally, the press had a field day with the photos. Aside from dissecting every piece of clothing on her body (She's wearing her favorite skinny jeans, you guys), some even guessed at the items in her bags (Is that a wine bottle in there? We spot a pizza!). And of course, they made sure to point out just how "normal" Kate is. (She pushes her own cart! She rings her own groceries!)
