A new iPhone and Android app called Stork Diet/Girl claims it can help you have a girl by directing you towards the right foods to eat, best times to have sex, and what positions to use.
App developer Alain Hanash used data compiled from a British study that found that 56% of pregnant participants who ate a low-sodium, low-calcium diet ended up having girls. His app delivers a nine-week diet based on the study's findings.
According to the app: "It is a natural and scientific based guide that includes a specific maternal diet and conception timing program."
However, Dr. Gilbert Webb, a maternal fetal medicine specialist at the Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, told Yahoo Shine that he wouldn't paint that nursery pink just yet. “It may offer some slight edge but not a whole lot."
