I am new to MOM.me, but not new to technology with kids and adults.
Just curious...What do all of you feel regarding Technology to entertain your children VS teaching them new talents for future? The old fashion ones including, Cooking, sewing, Boys building things, etc!!!

Facebook is amazing for connecting and reconnecting with Old and new Friends and Family. Twitter is Great for acquaintences and public discussions! Nothing seems to be private on the Internet if you really don't know technology. Get educated, Go do it for yourself!

I Love "IPhoto" to organize all of my Photos on Mobile Phone or IPAD...I am a Grandma of 2 with a 3rd on the way. I love taking Photos and sharing with the family. PLus my career has been in telecom and Technology for over 25 years.

I am a Mom and a Grandma of a 10 Year old Boy and a 4 year old girl. I think we as parents are responsible to be certain that Our children are safe. I have been in the Technology business for over 25 Years. I try to educate on line safety to parents and young people daily in my career.
Use your best judgement but be honest, and be open as to why you love them and may have concerns. I had a niece who was young and had an on line encounter with an older predator. Good luck...let me know if I can help further. Also check out ICLOUD so if you ever have to track your child's mobile device for any reason..its amazing!!
