How to Make My Own Padding for Sharp Corners When Baby Proofing

Once babies are on the move, babyproofing your home becomes essential. Sharp corners on furniture, countertops and fireplaces can be especially dangerous. You can protect your little ones from injury by using double-sided tape and bubble wrap or piping foam, said Julie Vallese, a consumer safety expert for Safety 1st . “You can also take the piping foam and wrap it all the way around the table. This will also mean you don’t need to use tape,” she said, adding that you can paint the foam to help it blend in with your furniture, if the look doesn't appeal to you.
