Can a Baby's Vaccinations Affect Eating?

Babies tend to be fussier than usual for the first two days after receiving a vaccination, but their feeding schedules usually are not significantly affected, says Dr. Sahira Long, a pediatrician with Children’s National Health System in Washington, DC. “They may also sleep more than usual on the day of shots, but they tend to eat fine when they are awake,” she says. Continue offering your little one feedings, but allow for more time to sleep after vaccinations, says Long.
