Should I Be Concerned With Baby Hair Loss?

It is common for babies to lose hair within the first few months of their lives, says Dr. Maria Miller, Florida-based pediatrician with Oviedo Pediatrics. “With an infant, hair loss should not be a concern,” she says. However, when a toddler loses hair, Miller recommends following up with a pediatrician. “Various things can cause hair loss in toddlers such as genetics, the environment, stress and diet,” she says.
