Bryanne Salazar is a freelance writer and lives in Southern California with her husband and their two teenage sons. She is a passionate human rights activist and cultural enthusiast. In between writing and family life, Bryanne spends her time mentoring incarcerated teenage girls with the organization WriteGirl, advocating for minorities and women, traveling abroad, and eating delicious food from around the world. She also loves animals (mostly cats), the environment, back massages and sarcasm.
What was your favorite toy as a child?
I think my favorite toy was a gold-lined book of fairy tales. I read it upside down until I learned how to read.
