The ultimate red-headed beauty icon recently revealed to InStyle her ultimate beauty advice, “I say this to every young person I know ... Stay out of the sun! I have very fair skin and it would have been super-damaged. I always wear sunscreen and I walk on the shady side of the street."
The "Spiderman" star admits she didn’t always love her naturally fair skin. "There was a time where I could not stand the pale. I'm from Arizona, and everyone is very, very tan. It's super sunny. I couldn't go in the sun because I don't have any pigment in my skin — which I now really appreciate," she shares with The Huffington Post.
The Oscar nominee's Twitter profile declares that she’s “pale, awkward and very, very small” — which is probably why we love her.
In case you missed it, fair skin and sun don't mix. "The Good Wife" star shared with Total Beauty, “I am very pale so I have stayed out of the sun most of my life.”
So what’s Nicole Kidman’s secret for maintaining such creamy luminous skin? It's simple. She tells Allure, “I meditate and stay out of the sun.” We’re sensing a theme here …
The self-proclaimed “really white” star of the "Twilight" franchise is often credited with kicking off a "pale is cool" beauty movement. Who knew vampires were so influential?
The former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" actress once shared with US Weekly that she was considered for the role of Bella in the "Twilight" series due to her super pale complexion — something apparently only a few actresses possess.
The Oscar-winner is so fastidious about protecting her stunning porcelain complexion from harmful UV rays that she sometimes carries a parasol in super sunny weather.
From "Dawson’s Creek" to "Blue Valentine," the actress' alabaster complexion is one we can't help coveting.
"Mad Men" bombshell Christina Hendricks is definitely part of the anti-tanning club. “I wear sunscreen every day ... I’m conscientious, but I’m not paranoid about it. If I sit by a pool, I’ll wear a sunhat.”
