Amy Poehler's best known for giving us all belly aches over the years on "Saturday Night Live," "Parks and Rec" and more. But did you know this funny lady also has a pretty big heart on top of all that great comedic timing?
Over the years, Poehler's been attached to causes like Autism Speaks and The Trevor Project. But the one she holds closest to her is the Worldwide Orphans Foundation, for which she serves as the Ambassador of Arts. After meeting its founder Dr. Jane Aronson, four years ago, Poehler has traveled to Haiti to visit with the children WWO supports and endlessly campaigned on behalf of the organization.
Watch Amy's moving speech about WWO and the work that it does, when she accepted Variety's Power of Women Award in 2013.
