Not yet a mother but Jessica Biel is already looking out for the comfort and needs of children. Well, you know, Hollywood's children.
Biel, who is expecting her first child with Justin Timberlake sometime in April 2015, announced that dream restaurant, Au Fudge, will open in West Hollywood around or before the weeks she is expected to give birth.
Au Fudge, co-owned by Estee Stanley, is a kid-friendly eatery meant to serve as a comfortable respite of cushions, organic foods and the sweet mix of privilege and ennui.
Foodie blog Toddrick Allen is reporting Au Fudge will be in West Hollywood, 9010 Melrose Ave., the former location of Smoke and Artichoke's Heart. The eatery for the littlest local elites is modeled after New York's Soho House, a private members’ club for those in film, media and the creative industry. New York magazine quoted sources saying Au Fudge is "where A-listers would feel comfortable bringing their kids to dine and take part in cooking activities."
Au Fudge isn't all about the kids, however. Los Angeles Eater reports they've filed for a "full 47 liquor license," so, you know, the noble kids' eatery is kind of a rich-and-famous drinkery, too. Sorta what we down-market parents refer to as playdates.
