Keira Knightley and husband James Righton are expecting their first child, according to People magazine. The couple didn't offer details, such as due date, and at a recent red carpet appearance for the Moet British Independent Film Awards, she showed no visible signs. In other words, Knightley Baby Watch 2015 is just getting under way.
Righton, keyboardist for the British rock band Klaxons, and Knightley were married a year and a half ago in France.
Don't expect the "Love, Actually" and "Begin Again" star to go the way of new dad Ashton Kutcher or his fiancée, Mila Kunis. Kutcher told Ellen DeGeneres that he and Kunis would not hire a nanny because they wanted to be the ones to respond to every need. Instead, Kunis is doing all the heavy lifting of raising their newborn daughter, Wyatt. In contrast, Knightley said in a 2012 Vogue interview that she could never be a stay-at-home mom, though she's got no problems with women and men who opt for that route.
The big question about the Knightley-Righton baby is which distinctive smile will the baby inherit?
