Moms Win Oscar Fashion

"Birdman" may have won best picture, but the moms of the Oscars definitely won best dressed. The biggest night in film was this past Sunday, and while we loved all the films up for nomination, we couldn't stop obsessing over the gorgeous gowns. After all, the Oscars are the height of awards show fashion.

This year, the celebrity moms brought their A-game to the silver screen and to the red carpet. We noticed a few trends, including a fair amount of gorgeous neutral tones and striking reds.

New mom Scarlett Johansson went for the jewel tone in a form-fitting emerald Atelier Versace dress that showed off a killer post-baby body.

Rosamund Pike may have been nominated for "Gone Girl" but she did everything but disappear in her red Givenchy dress. Solange also took a fiery route in a red-orange Christian Siriano.

Keira Knightley and Jennifer Lopez both chose gowns in nude tones. Mom-to-be Keira rocked a Valentino floral gown and Jennifer brought her signature glamor and glow to the red carpet in Eli Saab. Kerry Washington's peplum Miu Miu number was pure prettiness. Zoe Saldana and Gwyneth Paltrow favored pinkier neutrals, in Atelier Versace and Ralph & Russo respectively.

Not only did Julianne Moore win Best Actress for "Still Alice," she looked like a winner in a hand-beaded Chanel number designed by Karl Lagerfeld.

Patricia Arquette and Reese Witherspoon chose black and white looks. Reese's Tom Ford dress was one of our favorites of the night.
