The musical chronicles the couple's journey from Cuba to Miami to fame. There are ups, downs and inspiration galore because even at the top of their game, this couple has faced challenges that would crush many. Don't forget that in 1990, Gloria Estefan was in a serious accident that left her with a broken back and she was told she would never walk again.

Ana Villafañe will be playing Gloria Estefan. She's a Cuban-American singer, dancer and actress from Miami. You wanna know what's crazy? She even went to the same high school as Gloria Estefan, but obviously not at the same time.
Josh Segarra will be portraying Emilio Estefan. He's from Florida and of Puerto Rican descent. His acting credits include "Sirens," "Chicago PD" and "The Electric Company" (my kids and I have totally watched him on Electric Company) on television as well as "Dogfight" and "Lysistrata Jones" on stage in New York.
