Taylor Swift's Mom Gives Tear-Jerking Speech at ACMs

Taylor Swift got a very sweet tribute from her mom at the American Country Music Awards on Sunday as Andrea Swift sang her graces before presenting her with the Milestone Award.

As hundreds of fans looked on, Taylor's mom showered her with kind words and gracious appreciation.

Andrea even revealed that she and Taylor's dad, Scott, inspired one of her hit songs.

"She was 17 years old, and her dad and I strongly disapproved of a certain young man. And rightfully so," she said. "But she was mad. She was real mad, and she went to her room, and she closed the door. And she came out about an hour later with a song called 'Love Story.'"

"I am a very proud mom," she added. "I want to thank the entire music community for taking such good care of her. And to the fans: I know you love her as I love her. And for that, I thank you eternally."

Andrea, who was recently diagnosed with cancer, then presented her daughter with the special award.
