Scarlett Johansson won't tell you whether or not to breastfeed your baby or which preschool philosophy is best for your child.
In fact, according to a recent interview with the Australian Daily Telegraph, the self-professed parenting "newbie" won't even tell you which movies you should take your kids to — although we're pretty sure "Avengers" is near the top.
That's because although Johansson is a new mom to daughter Rose, who was born last September, she admits that she doesn't know everything about parenting, and doesn't think other high-profile parents should act as if they do, either.
"I always really hate it when actors or people in the spotlight make giant grandiose statements about parenthood because it's so, so personal," she tells the site. "And I don't profess to know anything more about parenting than anybody else."
So while she's keeping mum on the way other people should parent, the 30-year-old actress who's married to French ad exec Romain Dauriac, does say that parenting will affect her own approach to her work.
"I have a greater responsibility now, so that will definitely affect my schedule," she tells the site. "Before [Rose], I just made the choices that were affecting me, but now I'm responsible for somebody else. Eventually I will have to work less, and it might even make me more discerning."
