Soleil Moon Frye Shares Mother's Day DIY Activities

Soleil Moon Frye knows a thing or two about crafting.

Not only has the mom of three — and "Punky Brewster" alum — launched a crafting site and app called Moonfrye, she is also the creator of P.S. XO, a company that specializes in party-decorating kits.

She's also checked off the author box, having written party-planning book called "Let's Get This Party Started."

Now the 38-year-old multitasker is showing fans what she and her kids are up to, as far as Mother's Day crafting.

Moon Frye posted an adorable video story to Flipagram, a social media site that takes photos from your phone and turns them into short videos set to fun tunes.

For Mother's Day DIY, Moon Frye picked Elton John's "Bennie and the Jets" to showcase her kids' forays into seashell painting, card making, baking and frame crafting.

In an interview with mom.me, the mom of daughters Poet, 9, and Jagger, 7, and 1-year-old son Lyric said that moms often have to just enjoy the chaos.

"It's always chaotic and it's always crazy, and it's always full of energy and happy chaos," she says, "but it's really about enjoying the moments that we're together and having quality time and making the most of those moments and that time together to really be present and to just have a blast with each other."
