Blake Lively, mother of James, wife to Ryan Reynolds, spokeswoman, model and
creator of the lifestyle brand Preserve is one busy woman. Now she's adding
fashion design to her list of talents.
"I may not be able to draw worth a lick, but I am proud of
this dress I co-designed with Amour Vert," she said on Instagram.
The first pieces she created in collaboration with Amour Vert, a sustainable apparel company based out of San Francisco. The dress is made of pure silk and polyester crepe that has been recycled. The "Champagne" dress is a Preserve exclusive.
She debuted the collection with this feminine dress, but we
also love this bold jumpsuit in collaboration with Sam and Lavi. We would wear it all summer!
Another favorite is the silk tie-front shirt and skirt combination from Lindsay Thornbug, with a stunning floral pattern that "can win over even the strictest tomboy."
The pieces are quintessentially Blake—gorgeous patterns and
colors on expertly tailored pieces that flatter like nobody's business.
Preserve is a lifestyle destination featuring different products from artisans for women, men, kids and the home.
"To be honest, I could really see myself opening a clothing label and might even do it one day," Lively told the Belfast Telegraph.
We're excited to see what else the lifestyle guru creates, as we definitely don't think this will be her last foray into the world of fashion design.
What do you think of Blake's design skills? Will you rock one of her pieces?
