Taye Diggs knows a thing or two about fatherhood. After all, he's dad to 5-year-old Walker with former spouse Idina Menzel.
But let's just agree that he's a little — OK, a lot — more stylish than the average pops.
And for Father's Day, he's rocking a serious #DadJam for Dockers all in the name of ditching the dad pants. That is, the "shapeless, billowing, fabric-laden, pleated tragedy that too many men find themselves in every day," says Sarah Harbaugh, wife of pro football coach Jim Harbaugh, in another Dockers spot.
Whether dads are rocking the baby powder, diaper duty, homework or high school graduation, Diggs wants them to do it in style.
"I love style, I love dressing," Diggs, who will appear on Broadway in "Hedwig and the Angry Inch," said in a statement. "But when you're a pops, you gotta get dressed quick, and you have to be comfortable, and you gotta be ready to have stuff spilled on."
And as far as style tips for dads, Diggs likes pants that can hold lots of kid stuff.
"Khakis are good go-to, yeah," he added. "Or cargo pants because they have a lot of pockets. Pacifiers and bottles and diapers and wet wipes and crackers and little toy dinosaurs and candy for treats for any child that has behaved or when you're trying to bribe them."
Diggs definitely has the cool dad vibe working for him, and we're guessing lots of kids want to play at Walker's house.
