Kids Reveal Drawings of Their Favorite Things

Kids from all over the United States, including Brooke Burke-Charvet's 7-year-old son Shaya, illustrated what their favorite things are, in the hopes of helping other children.

T.J. Maxx is hosting the "Maxx Kids Art Contest," running through July 11, and asking kids to draw their answer to the question, "What is your favorite thing in the WHOLE world?" Twenty-five winners will be selected to win a $250 savings bond and a chance to have their artwork featured on a product sold at the retailer that will help kids who need it most.

From adorable animals to family members, butterflies and trucks, the kids' drawings have run the gamut of cuteness.

Television host Burke-Charvet gave a social media shout-out on Twitter and Instagram that featured her son's drawing — a red car that beeps.

Coinciding with the "Maxx Kids Art Contest" is the sale of a reusable bag, featuring children's artwork that will be available in T.J. Maxx stores for $.99 each. Proceeds from the sale will benefit Save the Children and the nonprofit organization's literacy, nutrition and physical activity programs.

Kids ages 14 and younger can enter with their parents' permission at T.J. Maxx.
