Following a busy weekend with Princess Charlotte's christening on Sunday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge
took a little time to themselves. Taking a break from the kids, the royal
couple attended Wimbledon to watch the Brits' own Andy Murray take on Canada's
Vasek Pospisil in the quarter final match. Spoiler alert: Murray won and will
play against Roger Federer in the semifinals.
Despite the rain, the couple
were all smiles as they cheered Murray on and chatted with other members of the
royal box, Prince Albert of Monaco was in attendance, and also the Countess of Wessex and Zara
Phillips. Other A-listers in attendance were David and Romeo Beckham, Bradley
Cooper and Bear Grylls.
Breaking the rules of the usual all-white dress code, Kate looked super
chic in a red flared midi dress by her go-to designer, L.K. Bennett (the dress sold out immediately, obviously). To add a little something to the mix, she added a
leopard-print clutch by Diane von Furstenberg, along with a Cartier watch and
these super affordable gold loop drops from Mirabelle. William was dapper as
always in a navy suit and red tie.
Kate's vibrant look was
quite a departure from her ensemble on Princess Charlotte's big day, when she
wore a tailored white Alexander McQueen dress and matching hat. The
christening took place at St. Mary Magdalene Church
in Norfolk, England.
