For the Hadid sisters,
winning the genetic lottery is an understatement. With former Dutch model mom
Yolanda Foster's height, bone structure and envious cheekbones along with their
father Mohamed Hadid's exotic Palestinian heritage, it is no surprise that 20-year-old
Gigi and younger sis 18-year-old Bella are two of fashion's most wanted models
right now. Exhibit A: This photo of Bella and 51-year-old Yolanda posing in
complementary red bathing suits (#flawless).
We first laid eyes on Gigi
when she made her appearance on Yolanda's show "The Real Housewives of
Beverly Hills" in 2013. A budding model at the time, Gigi was doing smaller
shoots, hoping that her career will evolve. Not long after, Gigi made her
runway debut at Fashion Week, became one of the rookies for the Sports Illustrated
Swimsuit Issue and covered Carine Roitfeld's CR Fashion Book.
Following a surge of
Instagram followers and a fast track into high fashion Gigi started to become a
household name. One of the faces of Tom Ford, Balmain and Maybelline, Gigi has graced the pages of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Love Magazine and walked for Chanel,
Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino, Michael Kors and more.
Although she's following
Gigi's footsteps, Bella is the edgier counterpart to big sis's blond,
California look. With dark tresses, light eyes and pillowy pout, Bella is a
force to be reckoned with, boasting her own impressive portfolio including
features in Elle, Glamour and W. Most recently, Bella and Gigi shared camera
time for their duo cover for V Magazine and Balmain's fall campaign (another power sister couple by the name of Jenner did the same).
But, wait a minute—there's a
third one. Hardly in the shadows of his sisters, 16-year-old Anwar Hadid is
equally gorgeous. Aspiring to be an entrepreneur like his real estate mogul
dad, young Anwar dabbles in modeling as he still hits the books, but we have a
feeling he'll be joining his sisters on the catwalk very soon. Hardly
fair, right? Just feast your eyes on this too-pretty-to-handle pic of the incredible Hadids.
