"Deadpool" actress Morena Baccarin, who is eight months pregnant, has asked a judge to reschedule her divorce deposition due to having a high-risk pregnancy and being very near her due date. Baccarin is expecting a baby, due in March, with "Gotham" co-star Ben McKenzie. According to court documents, Baccarin's doctor advised her on Jan. 29 that she should have "as much bed rest as possible and limited activities."
Court documents filed on Feb. 3 request that the deposition be rescheduled for 30 days after her baby's birth, provided there are no medical issues for mom or baby.
"Such stress will affect my personal well-being and potentially cause harm to the health of my unborn child," Baccarin wrote in her request.
Baccarin's estranged husband, screenwriter Austin Chick, filed for divorce last summer after just more than three years of marriage. The couple has had a contentious divorce—battling over living arrangements and custody of their son Julius, as well as child and spousal support. A judge ordered Baccarin in November 2015 to pay Chick nearly $23,000 a month in child and spousal support. Baccarin must pay Chick ongoing spousal support unless he remarries.

Baccarin and Chick were initially going to try co-parenting in New York, where Baccarin films "Gotham," but he moved to Los Angeles after learning she was involved with McKenzie, court document reveal. Thus began the issues over co-parenting their 2-year-old son from opposite coasts. (Would you want to fly your toddler back and forth, cross-country, while pregnant? That kind of sounds awful.) It's enough drama and stress to make any mom's head spin, so add pregnancy hormones on top of that plus promoting a new movie. Can this mom get a break, please?
The Brazilian-born mom candidly told E! Online she was feeling "like crap" while wearing a dress and heels on the red carpet promoting her new film on February 8. The actress has also filmed an appearance on "The Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon this month—and although she's supposed to be on bed rest, mama's gotta work if she's to pay that outrageous amount of monthly spousal support to her (nearly) ex-husband.
Baccarin and McKenzie first publicly stepped out as a couple at the 2015 Emmy Awards. The pair confirmed they were expecting a baby together just a few days later.
