Adapted from Jojo Moyes's best-selling novel of the same name, the film "Me Before You" tells the story of Will Traynor (Sam Claflin, "The Hunger Games" franchise) and Louisa "Lou" Clark (Emilia Clarke, "Game of Thrones"), who experience change through love and loss.
In the New Line Cinema/MGM film, hitting theaters June 3, Lou takes a job as a caregiver to Will, a wealthy young banker who is confined to a wheelchair after a terrible accident. The once-active Will has given up but Lou is determined to make him want to go on.
We sat down with Clarke and Claflin to talk about love and how it changes you, something Claflin experienced recently with the birth of his son in December.
"Naively, before I had him, I always thought that I would know what it felt like," Clafin says about loving his son. "But, literally, when that little terror was born—he is the love of my life."
