“When I had [my son] Ryder, I didn’t feel young,” Kate Hudson said of having her first kid at 24. “I didn’t feel like I was having a baby young … [he was] my family’s first grandkid and to me it just felt normal.” Hudson—who had her second child, Bingham (with fiancé Matthew Bellamy) at 33 last year—learned over time that she fell into the young mom category, especially by Hollywood standards. “As I started getting older, as he started getting older and I was 28, 29, I was like, ‘Wow. I’m a young mom.’ ... Now I have a little boy who is just his own person. I’m so happy that I had a child so young."
