While still in high school, Catherine Connelly (neé Cook) started the social networking site myYearbook.com with the help of her two brothers. Between 2005 and 2011, Cook's site collected 32.7 million members. She then signed an agreement to merge with Quepasa, a company that runs social-networking sites aimed at Latinos, to get a whopping $100 million in cash and stock. Now called MeetMe, the company is focused on growing their international audience. Connelly is the company's vice president for brand strategy.
