While the subscription-box craze has officially taken over the world—you can have virtually anything delivered to your door each month in carefully curated boxes, from beauty products to baby diapers—most subscription services are for moms or bigger kids.
Yet, I found some truly awesome subscription boxes for toddlers. Depending on your little one’s personality (or your own interests), here are my favorites:
For Crafty Toddlers: Kiwi Crate
Each monthly “crate” is filled with materials and ideas to spark creativity—whether that’s through art, science, or imaginative play. Previous themed crates include: “Colorful Inspiration” (with projects like DIY stained glass and a tissue tie-dye bag), “Wind Power” (with a build-and-race wind car and wind sock), and “Dig Into Dinosaurs” (with a DIY dinosaur tail and fossil crafts).
Ages: 3 to 7 years (although many 2-year-olds will love it, too)
Let’s be honest: Toddlers have short attention spans and love anything new, new, new. So Spark Box sends a monthly delivery of four full-size, high-quality toys (previous boxes included toys from Play Toys, P’Kolino, Hape, and more), and then, after a month of playing, you send them back for more. (Read: less clutter.)
Easily build your little one’s library with Little Book Club—a subscription service that sends three age-appropriate children’s books to your doorstep each month. The books are a combination of classics, bestsellers, and educational books, all targeted to your child’s developmental level.
Note: All of these subscriptions make the perfect gift for a first or second birthday party. Sign up your friends for a monthly delivery (typically 3-, 6-, or 12-month subscriptions), and watch as you’re crowned Gift Giver Of The Year.
