Ah, fall. The brisk weather, the colorful leaves, the pumpkin patches (and pies!), the perfect excuse to buy a new sweater ... it's one of my favorite seasons. And with all the wonderful autumn activities that kids can enjoy—from jumping in piles of leaves to carving Jack O'Lanterns to just watching the miraculous change in seasons—fall is certain to be a favorite of your children, as well.

Help celebrate and explore the new season with these 10 illustrated books, perfect for reading aloud to your little ones. You know, on those chillier nights, while looking fabulous in your new sweater.

1. Fletcher and the Falling Leaves by Julia Rawlinson
