25 Days of Cookies: Peanut Butter Blossoms

Peanut Butter Blossoms are a classic cookie, and combine two of our favorite flavors: chocolate and peanut butter. They're the perfect cookie to make with your little ones— have them roll the dough in sugar and carefully top them with a Hershey's kiss. Adorable and delicious, so it's a win-win.

RECIPE: Peanut Butter Blossoms

Yields 2 dozen cookies


  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Sift together the flour, baking soda, salt.
  3. Cream together the peanut butter and butter.
  4. Add the two sugars, egg and vanilla, and beat well.
  5. Shape into balls, roll in granulated sugar.
  6. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 7 to 8 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven. Top with Hershey's Kiss. Return to oven. Bake 2 to 5 minutes longer.
