Films for Your Elemental Influence: Earth, Fire, Water and Air

The power of our astrological sign stretches far and wide. In addition to your sign's influence, you're also impacted by your elemental sign. The four elements are fire, water, air and earth. Depending on your individual chart, you may have several planets in different elements, but for the sake of simplicity, I'm grouping signs by the element that most strongly affects them.

If you're in the market for films that will speak to your elemental sign, check out this list:

Fire signs: "The Fantastic Four" — Aries, Leo and Sagittarius are fire signs. They're generally extroverted, energetic, inspirational and risk-takers. In "The Fantastic Four," four teens are teleported to another world and need to work together in order to save the earth. This film is filled with adventure, action and danger. It's the spark that your inner flame needs set you on your own next big step.

Air signs: "John Wick" — Libra, Gemini and Aquarius are air signs. This makes them deep thinkers, but also socially active, cooperative and articulate. Although this film leans toward the violent side, it will spark empathy and understanding in the airy signs or those who have lots of air in their charts. John Wick is a hit man who comes out of retirement to pursue the gangsters who destroyed his life.

Water signs: "This Is Where I Leave You" — Cancer, Pisces and Scorpio are all water signs. Those who have lots of water in their charts are deeply emotional, empathetic, nurturing and compassionate. They are also very sensitive to energy, which makes them deeply feeling souls. This a smart film about a family called together by their mother after their father's death. The dynamics within the family will surely be relatable and entertaining for water signs.

Earth signs: "The Imitation Game" — Virgo, Taurus and Capricorn are the earth signs. Practical, patient, organized, productive and dependable are the qualities of these signs. Earth signs like order in every way possible, and this film will surely put things in their place. It's based on a true story that will likely give the earth signs a history lesson while speaking to the part of them that enjoys making sense of things.
