Beginning in 1946 and over two more years, young English mother Rosemary Redmayne passed three children off on strangers by knocking on doors. One of those children, Rita Holford, 67, never understood why her biological mother would do this, but searched high and low for her siblings for years.
After discovering two biological siblings that Redmayne had kept, Holford finally found her mother’s death certificate, which led her to the two brothers discarded in the same manner she had been. Their reunion was a sweet one. “We are so grateful for the good times we’ve been enjoying since we’ve found each other,” Holford told The Daily Mail.
