Adopted by Mary Poppins author P.L. Travers at 6 months old, Camillus Travers Hone had no idea that Travers wasn't his biological mother—or that he had a twin brother, Anthony. Travers had refused the boys' grandfather, Joseph Hone, when he asked that the twins not be separated, according to The Daily Mail.
Seventeen years later, in the late 1950s, the twins found each other, although there are conflicting reports as to how. While The New York Times writes that the twins met coincidentally in a pub, The Daily Mail writes that Anthony appeared at Travers family house in the Chelsea area of London.
