Substitute teacher Cassandre Fiering was fired after bringing her love life and dating issues into a Bronx, N.Y., classroom last June. And not just any classroom—her 4th grade classroom.
Fiering asked for the students' advice and had them role-play different situations so she could decide which of two men she was dating would be the best fit, according to investigators. She even asked if some of the kids could cover one of her boyfriend's houses in toilet paper.
That's when she was fired by the school.
Fiering, however, is appealing the decision, saying that the children were excited for her to listen to their advice.
