Bilingual Back-To-School Checklist

Preparing for a new school year can be chaotic—between all the preparations for childcare, getting the right school supplies, clothing shopping, getting back into the swing of packing lunches, it can be a lot to reacquaint yourself (and the kids) with. Keep organized with these back-to-school checklists in English and Spanish so you don't forget the important stuff!

Back to School Checklist:

  • Plan for after school childcare.
  • Prepare a nice and quiet study area for doing homework.
  • Find new recipes for lunches and snacks.
  • Start laying out your weekly menu calendar for planning meals.
  • Plan on something special for the first day of school (or, if school has already begun, something special to mark one week or one month of classes)
  • Enroll the kids in after-school activities.
  • Buy school clothing and supplies.
  • Practice getting into a bedtime routine.
  • Practice your school morning routine (brushing teeth, bathroom time, getting dressed and so on).
  • Schedule all dental and medical appointments (such as annual check-ups or sports physicals).
