In November 2016, shortly after Donald Trump won the presidential election, Seattle mom Molly Spence Sahebjami offered Facebook users an invitation. She created a group called "Dear President Trump: Letters from Kids About Kindness" and asked children to write letters to then President-Elect Trump about being kind. She called her "multi-partisan, global grassroots campaign" an experiment, where kids could tell their stories and share their thoughts. Since then, it has grown to more than 12,000 members. Here are some of those letters.
