In 2011, then 21-year-old Taylor Jones was in the kitchen of his family home in Ontario when his mom pulled out an old photo album. Taylor noticed a shot of his little brother at age three sitting at the same kitchen table. "It was weird – because my brother was there, in the exact spot he was sitting in in the photograph," he says. Taylor grabbed his camera and snapped a picture of the old photograph lined up in its original setting. He posted the image, along with six others on a blog. The Dear Photograph site quickly went viral with readers submitting similar pictures that bridged their own past and present. The website was recently turned into a book that contains never-before-seen examples of Taylor’s nostalgic concept.
