Makeup to Enhance Oval-Shaped Faces

Your eyes are best when they're defined and girly, in order to go along with your oval-shaped face. Your celebrity inspiration should be Katherine Heigl, who's often seen sporting bronze eye shadow all over her lids. Apply a pearlescent eye shadow (pearly pink or shimmering beige) to your eyelid, just under your eyebrow line. You can also line your eyes with an eyeliner: blue, black or brown, your choice. Don't forget to smudge the eyeliner so that it will look more natural. Then you'll have a finished eye look that accentuates your face shape.

Blush and Bronzer

When you have an oval-shaped face, you typically have cheekbones to die for. Accentuate them with a one-two punch of blush plus bronzer. Start by swiping a matte blush color on your cheekbones; to find the right place, suck in your cheekbones like you are sucking on a straw. Apply the blush to the hollow areas of your cheekbones. To warm your face with a bronzer, apply it in a C-shape from your cheekbones to your forehead.

Shape Those Brows

If eyes are the windows to the soul, then your eyebrows are your window treatments. By defining your brows, your arches look movie-star worthy. For oval-shaped faces, go for a soft, angled style. That means you shouldn't paint on any crazy, exaggerated arches. Instead, use an eyebrow pencil or shadow to follow and highlight your natural arch.

You're never fully dressed without lipstick or at least gloss. Since your oval face shape is universally flattering, your lip color is one you can play with. From super-shiny to bold and bright, a new lip shade can keep your look fresh. If you dot a little extra clear gloss on the inner portion of your lower lip, it will look even fuller.
