How to Remove Acne on the Back

Step 1

Eat healthy foods. Tone up your body and your skin by loading up on fruits, vegetables and foods high in fiber. Acne forms and spreads more often when your oil production is at its highest. Put down that greasy burger and eat right, to maintain a toned figure and blemish-free skin.

Step 2

Replenish your body with at least eight glasses of water per day. Hydrate your skin with nature’s best, to achieve your personal best in style.

Step 3

Keep your hygiene in check. Back acne will invade, when excess oil and sweat is trickling down your spine. Wash away the dirt and grime with an oil-free cleanser at least twice per day. Rub the cleanser gently into your skin with a washcloth and rinse with warm water. Use a removable showerhead and a back loofah, to fully cleanse those hard-to-reach spots on your back.

Step 4

Use oil-free products, to remove pesky pimples on your back. Oil buildup causes acne to form and spread. Break down dead skin cells by applying an oil-free toner with a cotton ball to your backside. Follow up your cleansing regimen with an oil-free moisturizer. Smooth out your skin and clear back acne at the same time.

Step 5

Get your steam on in a sauna or steam room at a local spa or gym. Steam helps to open up your pores and combat body acne. Sit back, relax and soak up the steam for 10 to 15 minutes. You want to then rinse immediately with cold water.

Step 6

Ask a professional for help. If your back acne is severe, a dermatologist or physician may recommend prescription topical cream or an oral acne medication to remove blemish blunders.
