Your complexion is coming off a long winter of moisture-sucking temperatures outdoors and drying artificial heat indoors. Now that the weather's warming up, it's time to swap out your heavy-duty moisturizer for one that's better suited to milder temperatures. "Switching your skin care seasonally is crucial," says Portland, Ore., based makeup artist Marissa Freeman. "The weather can drastically change the skin's moisture levels from day to day."
Consider incorporating a tinted moisturizer or BB or CC cream into your beauty routine in place of a heavier foundation or day cream. And if those are too much for you, rather than skipping the step, seek out a water-based, oil-controlling moisturizer.
