Review: Gillette Venus Razor

Meredith G: Wooed by the promise of a soft shave for sensitive skin, I opened the Gillette Venus Embrace Sensitive razor.* The product did not disappoint. The touch of aloe makes this razor a perfect match for anyone who gets irritated skin from shaving. Combined with the 5 blades and Ribbon of Moisture, this kept my skin smooth. An added bonus was the super easy-to-open packaging for those of us who forget to open until our hands are thoroughly soaking and slippery. I also liked the razor’s grip, which never slipped out of my hands. I’d definitely buy this product again. (Though they kindly included a spare razor, so I may not have to.)

Monique R: Gillette Venus Embrace Sensitive razor* has changed my life in just a couple of minutes. The five blade technology glided easily around my body without any snags (even those tight underarm spaces were easy to reach) and left my legs feeling super smooth. This is easily the most comfortable razor I’ve ever used. My sensitive skin areas were left feeling smooth without the usual burning I get after applying hygiene products to freshly shaved skin. No tearing up or gritting my teeth. I love it!

Lisa B: As a mom, my opportunities for self-care are limited. I’m lucky to have time to brush my hair, let alone shower for longer than 5 minutes. Anything that saves me time on my morning routine is a winner in my book—which is why I love the Gillette Venus Embrace Sensitive razor*. The ribbon of gliding gels surrounding the blades means I don’t have to use shaving lotion: It takes a whole step out of my shower routine. And the 5 blades gave my sensitive skin a smooth shave without any of the irritation I usually get. The Gillette Venus Embrace Sensitive razor is definitely my new morning shower essential!
