How to Clean Water Deposits From a Lawn Sprinkler

Step 1

Soak a cleaning rag in white vinegar and rub the sprinklers to remove residue. The vinegar naturally breaks apart the mineral content without damaging the sprinklers.

Step 2

Twist the sprinkler heads off and soak them in a bowl of vinegar overnight.

Step 3

Rinse off the sprinklers with water after rubbing down or soaking in vinegar, to remove leftover residue.

Step 4

Dry the sprinklers with a dry cloth to prevent new water deposits from developing.
