How to Clean Children's Costume Clothes

Step 1

Inspect each article of the children's costume to determine if there are any spots or stains on any of the pieces.

Step 2

Fill a bowl with 1/2 cup hot water. Dip a clean sponge into the hot water, squeezing as much of the water out as possible.

Step 3

Gently scrub the stained areas on the costume pieces with the damp sponge.

Step 4

Place the costume pieces into the zippered bag contained in your home dry-cleaning kit. You may place up to four items at one time into the bag.

Step 5

Place a dry-cleaning clean sheet (found in the dry-cleaning kit) into the bag.

Step 6

Zip the bag and place into the dryer on low heat for 15 minutes.

Step 7

Remove the bag from the dryer and remove your children's costume articles from the bag. Articles will be fresh, clean and ready to enjoy.
