Traditional Pork Kebabs

Maria Zoitas, creator of Maria's Homemade, shares the best recipes to cook for your dad this Father's Day. The line of prepared foods is sold exclusively at Westside Market NYC. However, you can easily make this delicious dad-approved traditional pork kebab recipe on your own. Follow the directions below and have your dad full and happy.


  • 2 lbs. pork shoulder cubes
  • 1 tbsp. kosher salt
  • ½ tbsp. black ground pepper
  • ¼ tbsp. red crushed pepper
  • ½ tbsp. dry oregano
  • ¾ lbs. mixed peppers (red, yellow, green) cut 1 inch cubes
  • ½ tbsp. paprika
  • 1/4 lbs. white onions (cube 1 inch)
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice


  1. Marinate pork cubes for about 6 hours, or leave overnight, place in refrigerator
  2. Skewer vegetables and pork, grilled or B.B.Q. grill
  3. When kebabs are done drizzle an additional olive oil with lemon on kebabs.
