Wash the dusted metal blinds with a soft cloth dampened in warm water with or without a mild soap. Adjust the slats up, then down, wiping both sides. Wash fabric blinds in the same manner with a cloth lightly dampened in clean water only.
Fill a bathtub full of lukewarm water. Add a small amount of dish soap or general household cleaner. Slide metal blinds out of their brackets and place them in the tub. Gently wipe the blinds with a soft cloth. Rinse and dry them well before rehanging.
