Happy Hour: Chocolate Hazelnut Martini

This extra-special Happy Hour beverage is part dessert and part cocktail, and 100% custom-made for! Judy Rim, the mix master at the St. Felix bar in Hollywood, created this sweet sipper that's full of chocolate, hazelnut ( yes - it is inspired by Nutella) and coffee flavors. We think there’s no better way to end a meal than on this sweet note.

THE RECIPE: Chocolate Hazelnut Martini

Yields 1 cocktail


  • 1 oz Frangelico
  • ½ oz Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1 oz heavy cream, or almond milk for a lighter version
  • ½ oz Kahlua
  • 1 shot of freshly brewed espresso coffee
  • Dark chocolate (for garnish)


  1. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously.
  3. Rim martini glass with graham cracker crumbs by dipping it in a shallow plate of chocolate sauce and then dipping it in a plate filled with graham cracker crumbs.
  4. Strain into martini glass.
  5. Garnish with chocolate shavings and espresso beans.
