Wash your hair with a good anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner. The anti-frizz products help to smooth down flyaways and keep hair looking shiny and smooth. Wash you hair with the anti-frizz shampoo as you would with your normal shampoo. Next, apply the conditioner. Leave the conditioner in your hair for at least five minutes. This will help moisturize your hair, leaving it silky. Rinse the conditioner completely.
Flat irons will help keep your hair straight and it will stay that way until the hair is washed again. Divide your hair into two sections, separating the top section of hair from the bottom with a hair clip. Take a small portion of hair from the bottom section and straighten it with your flat iron. Put the hair in between the iron's barrel pieces, then pull the iron all the way through that section of hair. Do this until the entire bottom section of hair is straightened. When finished with the bottom section, unclip the top section and repeat the process.
Using anti-frizz hair products will help to tame hair during humid times. Take a shower (with anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner) and towel dry your hair when you are finished. Add a dime-sized drop of hair serum to your hands. Do not use more than a dime-sized drop -- it can cause your hair to look and feel greasy. Run the serum between your hands to evenly distribute the product. Apply the serum to your hair, focusing on the ends. Add a little serum to the hair on either side of your part, if your hair is parted, to smooth down any flyaways. When finished applying the serum, blow dry your hair as you normally would.
