The New York Times sent six children from P.S. 295 in Brooklyn to acclaimed French restaurant Daniel. They ate a 7-course tasting menu that goes for $220 a person. Star chef Daniel Boulud (pictured below) oversaw the entire meal and made a point of not dumbing anything down for the kids' palates. As you can imagine, chaos ensued—but so did some very interesting moments. Although, we do wonder if $1,320 could have been spent more fruitfully.
