Greek Penne Pasta

Barilla will be debuting their new healthy Pasta Pronto line, a genius new pasta that cooks in minutes in one pot with no draining required! Chef Lorenzo Boni created this recipe for Greek Penne Pasta that's full of plum tomatoes, Kalamata olives, and feta cheese, and its the solution to any dinner rut. Because who wouldn't want to take a trip to the Mediterranean without leaving your home?

RECIPE: Pronto Penne Greek-Style Pasta with Tomatoes, Olives & Feta Cheese

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 15 minutes

Servings: 6


  • 1 Box Barilla® Pronto™ Penne
  • 3 cups water
  • 3 plum tomatoes, diced
  • 2/3 cup Kalamata olives, sliced
  • ¾ cup Feta cheese, crumbled
  • Salt and black pepper to taste


  1. In a large skillet combine water and pasta, turn the heat to high and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  2. Season with salt; cook pasta until almost all of the liquid has evaporated.
  3. When pasta is almost done add tomatoes and olives; gently heat through.
  4. Remove pasta from the heat and top with cheese then serve immediately.
