Pick through good quality fruit that is firm, ripe and ready for eating.
Remove all stems, cores and any other parts that can't be eaten. Wash the fruit thoroughly in a colander and place on a clean towel to dry.
Place the fruits in the freezer until they are frozen through.
Insert the fruit into a freezer bag. Leave an inch of space at the top of the bag in case the fruit expands. Press the bag together by hand to remove as much air as possible. Close the bag by pulling the zipper across or pushing the seal together across the top of the bag.
Label the bag with the type of fruit and date of freezing and place it in the freezer until you are ready to eat it.
